WINNER OF THE CANON PHOTO 5 ANNUAL COMPETITION

  • The challenge was to answer the 5 briefs with the most creative and imaginative images you can think of. The briefs were even more challenging to test photography skills not just the photographers creativity. Each brief was assigned a professional judge to provide tips along the way and choose the final ten shots before we open the competition up to a public vote to choose the winners...
  • This is my winning shot that won me a Canon 5D mark II and a photography safari to Northern Australia woth $10,000.

INTERVIEWED BY PETRA HAARMANN - For the Global Youth Impact Program - for The International Womens Development Agency.

On June 10th, I had the pleasure of speaking with Petra Haarmann who is an outstanding student from Wodonga Secondary College. She had been selected as a representative for the Global Youth Impact Program and was interviewing local women who had made significant achievements across various areas with a view of changing the world. The interview discussed my recent trip to Nepal and concepts of volunteering, voluntourism and starting locally. Petra is holding an exhibition featuring the women she has spoken with along with selected photography works highlighting their achievements. My credits go out to this young, bright girl, who i think will go on to achieve incredible things.
